A contractor who understands both towns
Thornbury and Meaford are close enough to be connected, but the building conditions are not identical. Thornbury has more heritage and higher-end finish expectations near the harbour and river. Meaford has river-adjacent water issues, rural properties, and more homes with layered additions. Canadian Buildpro works in both places every season.
When clients in this corridor call us, they usually need one contractor who can handle several scopes at once — moisture repair, renovation, exterior work, or maintenance. That is exactly where our broad experience is most useful.
Kitchen renovations with high finish standards

What changes the work in Thornbury and Meaford
Thornbury heritage homes
Older homes near the harbour and river often need careful material selection so moisture can still escape the wall assembly the way it was designed to.
Meaford's river and harbour flats
Groundwater and spring runoff are real factors here. Basements need drainage thinking, not just cosmetic waterproofing.
High-expectation finish work
Thornbury and parts of Meaford have a strong finish standard. We work to that standard — clean lines, proper fit, and details that hold up over time.
Rural properties and layered additions
Meaford's rural homes often have wells, septic systems, and additions from different eras. We scope the work around those realities from the start.
