Canadian Buildpro grew out of more than thirty years of hands-on work across the trades — framing, finishing, waterproofing, remediation, and everything in between. That range is unusual, and it is the reason we can walk into a damp basement and tell you what is actually happening rather than guessing.
Being family-owned changes how we operate. There is no sales department here and no commission structure pushing you toward a bigger scope. You talk to the people who will be on your property doing the work, and our name is attached to every job we finish in this community.
We work for homeowners who have been putting a project off, cottage and second-home owners who need somebody local they can trust, and property management companies who need one licensed contractor they can hand a work order to and stop worrying about.
Most of our work now comes from repeat clients and referrals. That is deliberate. It is also the reason we would rather turn a job down than take one we cannot do properly.

Tell people the truth
Sometimes the honest answer is that you do not need the big job. We would rather quote you $2,000 of the right work than $20,000 of the wrong work and lose your trust.
Do the invisible parts properly
Membranes, flashing, footings, vapour control. Nobody photographs them, and they decide whether the work lasts five years or twenty-five.
Put it in writing
Written scopes, written change orders, written quotes. If it is not written down, it is not a real number.
Leave it cleaner than we found it
Dust control while we work, a proper clean at the end, and a walkthrough before we ask for final payment.
